My friend recommended this place to me so i decided to try out this jap place at the new extension of plaza sing. The good thing about this restaurant is that as long as you order a set meal on the menu, you can enjoy the appetizer bar which contains chawanmushi, salad, seafood gyoza and few other stuff. Went to Hifumi the 3rd time and the salad bar has more varieties now! The chawanmushi is really nice and there are now seafood dumplings and soba noodles. However, the main course doesn't taste that good. I ordered the baked chicken and curry vegetable set but both are a little disappointing because of too much salt added in. Price overall is reasonable since you have free access to the salad bar.

HiFuMi Japanese Restaurant served up pretty nice Japanese food. The food at Hifumi reminded of Mrupupup's time in Japan. Went to eat at Hifumi with my family and relatives and queued for almost an hour before we got our seats. But the staff is really friendly and kept on apologizing for the long wait. The food here is really worth it since when you order a meal you can have access to the salad bar for free and it's unlimited! The salad bar though has little choice available (but I'm not complaining since the price is already ok). Chawanmushi is nice and free flow. You can top up $2 to get free flow of drinks also
