Was back to eat the economical rice at this stall again as i find that it is value for money as the portion is really quite big and filling. The price is also very reasonable too. I ordered the black pepper chicken and also one vegetable and it costs around $3. They gave quite a lot of rice this time and the meal was quite nice. Chanced upon this cafeteria at the end of the arcade. Decided to join the queue for the mixed rice, there wasn't much variety of dishes to choose from so i had to make do with the eggs with vege, steamed egg tofu. The lady who was taking my order was telling me to choose one more braised egg or maybe a slice of the tofu to round it up to $3 and i thought ok i will get the tofu then. I have been having this yuan yang fish soup (i.e. fish soup with fried fish and sliced fish) for 3 consecutive days and yet am not sick of it. Indeed, this is one of the best fish soup which I have tried. It tastes really delicious. However, I feel that the chef is not very generous with the ingredients. There are only 2 sliced fish! As the queue is always very long during lunch time, I would suggest that you visit place during non peak hours (before 11.30am or after 2pm)

One of the best fish soup that I have tried. No wonder the queue for the fish soup is always very long during lunch time. Given that it is also very difficult to find seats during lunch time, most diner will choose to take away.However, do not expect for good service. In fact, the service staff are quite impatient and will scold the customers if they prepare the wrong order for the customers (blaming the customers that they didn't state clearly what they want).
