Komala's is a well known indian vegetarian fast food chain in Singapore. In the new KopiTiam food court in Northpoint, there is also one outlet. It used to be in the centre in the old food court, but now it has been moved all the way to right all the way inside. The Masala Dosai, which is costs about $6, is quite big, and served with 3 different sauces. Quite crispy and very filling. Like the orange colored sauce the best. The white one tastes quite strong of coconut. The other one is abit spicy.

Putting aside the health conscious thought, I decided to have some briyani. We went to Komala's Restaurant for some chicken briyani with curry. The chicken meat was tender and the rice was fragrant. Topped with the curry gravy, it enhances the entire meal experience. For just $5, I had a enjoying meal.

Komala's has literally been around for decades but this is the first restaurant that has been established in the north which makes it so convenient for anyone that's up for a taste of good indian food but detests traveling all the way down to little india. One of my favourite's has always been the cheese masala thosai. The filling of masala was generous and wasn't too spicy. I also liked the combination it had with cheese!Badam Milk is a popular indian beverage which consists of cashew nuts. Mango Lassi's (another beverage) at Komala's are pretty good as well!
