Korean Teppan - Food Connection (已結業)

Korean Chicken hot plate set $4:The portion of the chicken was just nice and it was a filling meal. The chicken was kept hot throughout the meal as it was served on a hot plate. It was also well-marinated and went well with the rice. There was a sweet and a mildly spicy flavour to the chicken. The kimchi had a balance of sweet, sour, and salty flavours. This is also reasonably priced. worth a try!

Had the Yuk gae jang for $4.30. In the soup, there was egg, beansprouts, onions, and a few slices of chicken. The soup was slightly spicy and it tasted quite like it was ladened with artificial flavourings (m.s.g?) The kimchi was not bad though and tasted acceptably like authentic kimchi with the right balance of sweet, sour, and salty flavours. Overall, the portion (of the chicken) was too little and did not justify the price of $4.30 for school food. First and last try!

I ordered the soup with beef and disappointingly, there were only a few slices when I paid around $4 for it..The soup was very hot (thankfully), and together with the rice, I managed to feel just satiated, but not quite fulfilled. The kimchi side-dish is self-service.Next time round, I may just order the Saba fish as it seems to be the better bang for the buck though.

I went to try out the Korean teppan at food connection. The omu rice is really delicious, the egg they used is well seasoned, they fry it till very thin then wrap the rice. I ordered the chicken katsu with curry. The curry taste like the japanese kind. It is not spicy as all but very thick and tasty. The chicken is very crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. Too bad they did not use fried rice cos the white rice is a little plain and dry. there is also carrots and potato, both are very w

when the menu wrote omelette rice i thought the rice would be in the omelette and it would be cool, but it turned out to be an omelette put separately. this plate of omelette rice with chicken cutlet was really filling. there was quite a huge cutlet, potatoes which came together with the sauce and an omelette. the korean curry sauce over it was a little different from norma curry sauce, not spicy at all. the potatoes were soft and the chicken cutlet was not so crispy already because of the sauce

I decided to try the korean teppan stall at ntu food connection. I ordered the curry chicken omu rice. the curry tasted really nice, it was the Japanese curry it was not spicy but yet very flavourful. the chicken was deep fried till very crispy. it goes really well with the curry. the omu rice was so so, the egg was really very thin and not enough to wrap around the rice. but as a whole the curry outshine everything was made the entire dish really delicious! I was rather satisfied with the food.

Teppanyaki? Favourite of many. Garlic rice and all. I love them too. But no. This stall doesn't sells teppanyaki. Its actually just serving you grilled korean meat but nonetheless. It is still delicious although there isn't garlic rice and all. Just the meat with its sauce and some ban chai that comes with the rice. The food was served rather fast thou for teppanyaki. And it isn't too costly.

Bibimbap. One of the most popular and known korean food in Singapore. I love the korean stall here. Not only i would recommend the bibimbap, the kimchi chigae, tofu chigae and bulgogi of any type are great too! The meal comes with a large serving of kimchi and anchovies with a warm bowl of authentic korean rice.
