Addicted to Vegetarian food since last visit, I came to Kwan Inn Eatery. The place has a steady reputation in producing delicious meat-free dishes at economical pricing. Array of varieties, local delights such as Laksa, Herbal Soup, Prata, Yong Tau Foo and Chee Cheong Fun were all listed in recommended food. Stall was well-maintained, food was arranged neatly hygiene. Dine-in or take-away were all welcome, friendly service rendered.Brown rice was chewy and infused heavily with savoury curry, cabbage and tau pok were succulent juicy. Curry was free from coconut milk, absolutely healthy twist. Stir-fried Long Beans and Lady Fingers, the dish was homely delicious with right mushy texture. Another decent dish was Old Cucumber mixed with Tomato, very creative combination. Little bit sour and soft layer of cucumber was appetizing, it went perfectly with rice. My plate was colourful stuffed, portion was rather huge. The price was only $2.50, quick fix for quality meal and cheap.

Have you wondered where can we have our meals when it is 初一,十五? In the Chinese calendar, during this two days in a month, we ought to go vegetarian. Although I’m not a vegetarian myself, I followed my uncle and aunty to Kwan Inn Vegetarian Food Stall at Geylang East Ave 1 coffee shop. I tried their curry with prata. The curry was decent which costs only $1 for a bowl with potato in it. The prata isn't oily which makes me guilt-free! it is the normal prate combination with curry but having this makes me feel a lot more healthier than having the normal Indian prata. Good choice! My uncle also ordered a big bun which is so much bigger than my fist. He finished it in less than 5 minutes. I guess it is super delicious. What's more, it is value for $$ ! This is also one my rare times getting vegetarian food and I love it
