Met up with a friend to have dinner and we choose to dine in Lerk Thai cos is a rainy day so I craving for spicy hot soup! So we each order a small bowl of Tom Yum seafood clear soup ($5), pineapple rice ($10.90), crispy minced chicken pancake ($9.90), baby french bean with sambal ($10.90) and coconut ($5). So we each order a small bowl of Tom Yum seafood clear soup ($5), pineapple rice ($10.90), crispy minced chicken pancake ($9.90), baby french bean with sambal ($10.90) and coconut ($5).

We were served cracker with sweet & spicy chilli ($2) upon making out orders. I was expecting hot soup but the tom yum soup served was warm only. French bean was not much of any other taste except spicy, pineapple rice was good generous floss was sprinkle on the rice with crunchy cashew nuts! Best was the crispy minced chicken pancake but is kinda pathetic small. Coconut meat was very hard to dig out but coconut water was sweet! Overall we spent $63.20 after all service charge and GST added in.

Not a bad Thai restaurant

This is not a bad Thai chain restaurant. Recently, we had tried their 7 course lunch set. The appetizer fish chips were stale. Tom yum soup was hot and delicious with a big chunk of fish. Fish cake was yummy; green leave wrapped chicken was also delicious; deep fried veggie and the bamboo shoots were so so. The main course green curry was delicious. I asked to make it mild and they did. watermelon was not cold though. Overall, it's not bad.

There's a newly opened mall in Bedok and I know you're all gonna say "what another mall in Singapore?". 95% of this 3-storey building are restaurants and fast food! Last night, my girlfriend and I went to Bedok Point to have our dinner. We settled at "Lerk Thai" which happens to have Filipino staff and crews.

Lerk Thai proudly presents customers with an exclusive preview of their newly created dishes this September. After looking at their menu on 50% off their new selection of tantalizing dishes, we decided to order Deep Fried Seabass in Jungle Curry at discounted price of $14.95 (excluding 10% Service Charge and 7% GST).

DECOR: The Bali-Thai inspired interiors really gave a nice, zen-like, homey and family-friendly atmosphere which is enticing to the senses. Works for me!

FOOD: The food tasted great but compared with other Thai restaurants in Singapore, I really cannot figure out what's unique about their menu. The servings were on the conservative-side (not ideal for sharing especially for big groups), its not the best value for money.

SERVICE: The staff and crews were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable with what's on their menu. Estimated waiting time for the food was 10 - 15 minutes, but our food came earlier than that because it almost reached the last ordering time at 9.30 p.m.

OVERALL: Decent, but a bit pricey.

Fried Tung Hoon

There is a mini food fair at Bedok Point and Lerk Thai is one of the stall. The prices is cheaper than in the restaurant but it only sell Pad Thai, Fried Tung Hoon, Sticky Rice with Mango, Tapioca and light snack.I ordered the fried tung hoon with chicken for takeaway. The noodle is still hot when I tuck into it. It is nicely fried with pieces of chicken and spring onion. It is not soggy at all. For $5 you can choose to add seafood. Fried Tung Hoon in the restuarant will cost around $9.
