Kuay is handled by the lady helper in the stall, spending quite sometime in a corner, ensuring that every bowl is cooked to the ideal texture.

The bowl was then added with the braised gravy from the pot then topped with fried onions to enhance its taste.

Being a true blue Singaporean, having Kuay Chap for meals is a normal and also their food falls within the acceptable taste, I wont mind returning back for another meal there.

I ordered the $2.50 set of kway chap which does not come with the kway (50 cents). I requested for no pork belly meat and also requested a top-up of braised egg (additional 70 cents). The kway came in a murky-colored soup which thankfully did not taste as bad as it looks. The big intestines were ok in taste but still had a hint of pungent smell to it. The preserved vegetables were rather nice. I liked the tofu as it tasted fresh and you could still taste the soya beans. But perhaps for kway chap fans, they might find it is not braised long enough - the color was too light. The egg was braised well though.

Generally, my set was normal, nothing special. Probably a one-time visit then for this stall.
