If not for the session, I would not have known that having catering food can be so healthy to start with.Oh's Farm Catering is rather thoughtful and take care of customer's health serving food in Nutritionist choice and is also ideal for weight watches. Food served are nutrition rich, high in antioxidant, low in fat and sugar with increased vitamins.A starter for the meal, Mesclun salad in balsamic vinaigrette. They were wrapped with plastic firm to retain its freshness, The greens were crunchy and a good dish to start with.Pasta was cooked to al dente with diced chicken and fine slices of capiscum included. The nature of salmon was well covered by the presence of lemon and garnishing. Baked salmon was served in bite size, sliced to an average thickness, easily handled.Grilled chicken has a semi cripsy top layer of skin coated with texture of pepper corn and honey. The combination is rather new to me and I thought I'm not used to the taste. Overall, the chicken was tender and succulent. Shells of the prawns were all managed by the caterers and I have a fuss free dinner. They were fresh coasted with tomato, Yums!The dish that I like best is the sauteed asparagus. Juicy and crunchy, easily bitten.As a celery lover, I find that they are lacking of crunch from the celery and it turned out to be a little soggy. However, the mushrooms were cooked to softness with herbs infused to its taste.Everyone would have thought cheese with eggplant may be high in fat but low fat cheese was used in the dish. Eggplants were not too dry and the cheese flavours was rather light.Last but not least its cream of mushroom. Not to worry if the milk used is full cream and instead, Oh's Farm uses Fat Free Milk and very ideal ingredient. Chunks of mushroom is found in the cream soup with bay leaf spotted.Here's my plate for the night - a little bit of everything!Though dishes will very simple, its main objective is to serve their customers with healthy food. With so many of us having health concerns as our top priorities while dining, Oh;s Farm Catering will be one of the wiser choices out of so many caterers.

One of the other participants of the Cozycot event was Oh's Farm Catering. It was really a coincidence because this was one of the final caterers that I have shortlisted for the party that never materialized (maybe in future but.. I'm kinda lazy). I remembered fashion blogger Andrea Chong mentioning about this caterer before, so I decided to go ahead and contact them for a quotation. Oh's Farm Catering was really thoughtful and patient with my hundred and one queries and requirements (strange locations, vegetarians, non-spicy, and more) - even drafting out two menus after speaking to me over the phone! I was really quite impressed - even more with the price, at only $12/pax + $40 transportation fees. Note that it might vary according to the menu selection and also a lot of other factors - so send in a quotation email from their website to find out more (choose a menu at the bottom of the page).This is Oh's Farm Catering introducing their latest nutritious menu during the health and beauty workshop at The Studio Bar.I like how they are attentive to detail and providing what their customers need. When I was trying Oh's Farm Catering's new menu (I tried everything) - I was pleasantly surprised to find all of the menu selections being really flavourful. Special mention to the eggplant and asparagus - two things which I refuse to eat except in forced social circumstances - I actually loved them in this menu! First, the eggplant didn't have much of its original taste nor the soggy texture, but camouflaged as mushrooms - yes that's why I liked it. Secondly, the asparagus was somehow really crunchy and good. Judging by the looks of the spread, it definitely looks quite atas with salmon, asparagus and prawns. Overall, I am confident with this food caterer in terms of value-for-money and quality delivered.

Tonight I am invited to an event at The Studio Bar which launchs the start of healthy catering menu from Oh's Farm Catering. We are treated to a catered buffet meal that is Low in Fat, Low in Sugar, High in Antioxidant, Nutrition-Rich and Increased Vitamins.By the way, Oh's Farm catered meal is Halal too.Mesclun Salad with Roasted Walnut dressed in Balsamic VinaigretteThe simple salad tastes light and refreshing.Cream of Mushroom (Fat Free Milk)Feel that the soup is a bit too watered down.Grilled Chicken with Pepper Corn, HoneyQuite juicy chicken.Baked Salmon with Dill, Lemon DressingSimple and light dish.Tomato Whole PrawnsThe prawn is juicy on its own but does not seem to balance with the heavy sauce. Maybe it could I do not really like tomato.Sauteed AsparagusThe Asparagus is well cooked as it tastes crunchy and light.Glaze Mushrooms with HerbsIt tastes light, juicy and not over flavoured as the usual osyter sauce based type.Low Fat Cheese EggplantAt first it looks too creamy, but it just right. Tastes great and I could eat a lot of this dish.Sauteed Pasta with Chicken and CapsicumThe pasta is well cooked and does not tastes too creamy or jelat to me.Cut FruitA simple and healthy finish to a meal.Overall it is quite a tasty and filling meal. I attended an event and the host served the guests with tasty canapés. The catering was from Oh’s Farming Catering. I had mushroom topped on French loaf bread. The mushroom was juicy and as the juice flowed to the bread. This made the bread soft. The next item was the salmon tart. The salmon was fresh and the tart was neither soft as it did not crash once bite. The 3rd item was the soba with fresh prawn. It was unusual to have soba served as one of the canapés but the catering was able to do it by using a deep spoon. The 4th item was the tomatoes purees filled on top on the mini pasty base. The tomatoes puree was delicious. The 5th item was the fruit tarts. There were 2 different types – berry tarts and kiwi tarts. There was no layer of gelatin so I could taste the freshness of the fruits. The last item was the cookie. The cookie was rich was cinnamon. As I did not like the strong cinnamon, I could not finish the cookie. The whole, I enjoyed the food very much.

First time trying the foods from this caterer and thanks for my uncle who has ordered the food from them for his housewarming. The food spread was quite many and the display is neat and clean. Among the food I have tried, my favorite will be their deep fry fish fillets and the stir fry char chye. The fish meats are soft and fresh and the outer layers are crispy and not too oily. The char chye,also known as the stir fried cabbage are very crunchy and not over cook and not too salty. Great food from Oh's farm!
