Saboten offers good fried Japanese food like for example Tonkatsu. I had the fried pork cutlet which was considerably good. The fried pork cutlet is fried till crispy brown and the placed on a metallic platter to let the oil drip out. It was also rather juicy and tender. If you like fried stuff, then this is a must-try. The portions were somewhat small but with rice, you can surely be full. The fried prawn tempura was also good and tasty.

I bought my family of 4 to Saboten for a Japanese meal. I've been to this restaurant for a couple of times in the past.My wife really enjoy the free flow of cabbage as it is very tasty with the sesame dressing. I must say I enjoy the cabbage as well.My 2 kids love the fried salmon and chicken sets, and not to mention the ice cream!Prices are reasonable and you can get a discount if you are Changi Rewards card holder.The only improvement that I hope to see is the service level of this restaurant.

Had tried Saboten while waiting for my parent to fetch me in the airport! This is my first time trying Saboten and it really taste great! I like the slice of fried pork! It is tender and soft at the same time, it is juicy too! The best part is that although it is fried but it was amazingly not oily at all. However, i recommended to share it with a friend and the portion is slightly too big! For the price wise, i think is still acceptable as it was located in the airport!

Had my breakfast brunch at Saboten Japanese Tonkatsu restaurant before i fly off for my weekend escapade. I really like the Tori karaage ($4.8) at Saboten. The chicken pieces are so well-marinated. Slightly crispy outside, but retain the juiciness of the meat inside. i went to pick my dad back from his business trip with my mum and sister. We headed to saboten for dinner. I ordered the chicken katsu variety set. It comprises of one piece of chicken katsu, one asparagus chesse roll and one crab cream croquette. Their rice, soup and cabbage were free flow. So worth it. the chicken katsu is so delicious, the meat is tender and juicy. the outside is so crispy. the asparagus cheese roll is so good, very crunchy. As a whole I was very satisfied with the meal.
