As the round market is within walking distance from my house, I have eaten at this popular stall a couple of times already and would never get sick of it as their menu is pretty extensive! This is a really popular stall at Tampines Round Market and you must be prepared to wait atleast 15-20 minutes on a weekend! You could always spot a long waiting queue in front of this kolo mee stall, especially during the lunch rush hour, the queue can easily be 20 - 30 people. However, it definitely worth the wait. The kolo is authentically good. It's filled with lots of ingredients: pork ribs are nicely stewed, very soft texture and rich in flavour. This stall is famous for their sarawak kolo mee but having ordered that a couple of times before, I wanted to try their other food items! I ordered their Ipoh Hor Fun which came with shredded chicken and wantons! I didn't expect it to come with wantons and there were 5 of them! It is certainly worth it for $3! We were back at Tampines market to buy lunch again. This time, we choose the other stall that is also with the snake queue to see if it's really good. We bought the signature Sarawak Kolo Mee and it's really yummy. The noodles are all handmade and it's very springy. the famous long queue stall in tampines round market, they have opened a branch in chinatown hawker centre, same thing but a bit expensive price here, maybe because of location, like their kolo mee very much, very unique to this stall, with a bowl full of ingredients, quality is good except the stall is always very slow, need patience to queue, we normally order the assorted mix one as shown, we can eat all their famous wanton and ribs at same time,their kolo mee is addictive, can't find anywhere else in singapore, not bad, for this pricing and hope their service faster, i would go back eat if i got craving again. …查看更多

This wanton mee stall is one of those stalls with long snaking queues every weekend! If you are not the patient type, I strongly advise you to come on a weekday if you can as their queue is significantly shorter! Roughly around 1 to 3 people infront of you. Their signature food item is the Sarawak Kolo Mee, however I prefer their wanton mee instead! I guess it's because I find that kolo mee tasted like instant noodles. The most basic set gives you the kolo/wanton mee with fried wantons, boiled wantons, char siew and veggie. I love their wantons, very meaty! There are a few sets available and one of them included pork ribs in it! I have tried a few versions before and the one I like best is the basic wanton mee set. I was working in Tampines yesterday and had my lunch at the tampines round market. The kolo noodles was nice. I like their springy noodles especially it mixed with their home made chili, which brings the best out of the world. Their sauce is superb, there is a slight sweet aftertaste which makes people want to try more. The pork meat they gave was slightly fatty and since i am on diet, this is definitely a big no no for me. There is both fried and boiled wanton available on my kolo mee. I prefer the boiled one as can do a comparison with the boiled wanton on the noodles and the fried wanton on the last pictures. The boiled wanton is bigger in size and had more meat in it whereas the fried one smaller and with little meat in it, however, it is crispier due to the 'skin' of the wanton. This stall just as it claims certainly serves Yummy Sarawak Kolo Mee! It is not only yummy because of the taste but also very generous. Stick to the normal size, upsizing it will be a little too much, causing you to suffer from diminishing marginal returns. Ha! The noodles are wonderful especially if you do not like the alkaline taste in some yellow noodles. Apparently the noodles are imported from Sarawak. They taste more like the handmade noodles kind. Unlike other Kolo Mee, I think the version selling here are more fragrant and the ingredients in it are also more generous. The not too thick handmade noodles is really the highlight on this stall as it is really chewy and not easily breakable. The portion served here is generous and well like by people like me who needs to eat bigger portion. The minced meat here is cooked nicely with their in house special sauce that make it taste extremely fragrant. At first sight,i though this stall serves the same Sarawak kolo mee which i had eaten in Marina Square and i remember it is not cheap at minimum $8 for a bowl but over here the pricing are $3/$4/$5.Had the wanton mee at $3 and the serving comes in a normal plate unlike the one i had in Marina Square.The mee is cooked till very chewy and the wanton is tasty as well as the sio pai chye cooked just crunchy and the black sauce for the mee is very tasty however the bowl of soup is very plain.…查看更多
