I was planning for a little party at my place and pizza delivery seemed the most convenient. Usually I would have ordered pizza hut but Sarpino's sent their flyer recently to my house and the choices seemed really good. And so, Sarpino's it is then!

I tried their 1-for-1 large series of pizzas. $35 for 2 large pizzas - total 16 slices. We got a "safe" choice of the Aloha - Turkey bacon and sweet pineapples topped with italian cheese and a more adventurous Chicken pesto - Pesto basil sauce, grilled chicken, spinach leaves, parmesan, topped with mozzarella cheese. Online order is only available on weekdays, so I had to call in on this Saturday.

I called around 10+ am in the morning and was prompted to enter the first 2 digits of my postal code - they will direct you to the nearest Sarpino's outlet. Service was good over the phone - polite, articulate & clear. Delivery was very punctual - I requested for 1.30pm, food arrived at 1.25 pm. Thumbs up!

There were 8 really huge slices per pizza for the large 14" size - bigger than the ones for the large pizzas at pizza hut.

When the pizzas came, they smelled really good! Unfortunately the pizzas were left for about 45 minutes before everyone started on it and I had to warm up the pizza. The pizza still tasted pretty good, although I would have preferred if more ingredients and sauce were given. If we had eaten the pizza piping hot, I think it would have tasted even better. Perhaps for the 1-for-1 type of pizzas, they would not give too much ingredients. Well, it has at least passed my first test, so I'm now willing to give their gourmet pizzas a try.

Sarpino's is my choice for pizza delivery in Singapore. The buy 1 get 1 free pizzas are a great deal and they're always offering new combinations of toppings. Our usual order is one Aloha (ham and pineapple) and one double pepperoni, but I also like the Sam Remo (chicken and red peppers) and the BBQ chicken is pretty good, too. The pizzas have a soft, doughy crust and lots of cheese! I live near the Pasir Panjang outlet, and it always arrives fast and hot - I've never had a mistake with my or

The only complaint I have is that their Caesar salad is really pathetic

Seriously, stick to the pizza.

Due to dietary restrictions I only tried 5 out of the 6 flavours. Firstly, the BBQ chicken had the strongest taste by far, but unlike other pizza eateries, the BBQ sauce was not overpowering and was very tasty. Next, I tried the Aloha pizza which is their equivalent of the Hawaiian. I feel that for this particular pizza, there were too little toppings, consisting of only pineapples, turkey bacon and cheese. There could have been more toppings such as red and green pepper that will add to the taste of the pizza. I did not like the Chicken Pesto, which is topped with spinach and pesto basil sauce. I found the smell and taste of the spinach too overpowering. Terriyaki Chicken was the driest slice of pizza out of all that we ordered and I did not taste any terriyaki sauce at all. Last but not least, is the San Remo pizza. This is my favourite flavor out of the 5 that I tried, because it is the juiciest and had the most cheese on it. Although it was not as spicy as I had hoped it would be, the San Remo pizza is flavorful and succulent with toppings of red pepper that give an extra crunch.

On the overall, Sarpino's sell good pizza at an affordable price especially if you are ordering in bulk. I would give it a 8/10.

Since we always order from Canadian and pizza hut, this time we ordered from Sarpino. Heard from 1 of my cousin saying that the pizza's crust is really soft and thin. We ordered the buy 1 get 1 free combo. i don really know the names of the pizza but it tasted DARN GOOD. The thickness of the crust and softness of the pizza is JUST WOW. It was not really heavy.
