Think of the best satay sauce you’ve ever had. The direct opposite is how the sauce from Satay Sejati is like. The sauce was a disappointment; it was diluted and lacked of any character at all. It was so plain, I wonder if they ran out of sauce and they just poured more water into it. The raw chicken satay is grilled when you put your order. After about 10 mins, the yummy tender satay is served to your table with sliced cucumber and sliced onions. You also get pipping hot peanut sauce to go with it. I like than the chicken fillet is not tough and moist with a nice char taste.Yet it is not burn. It cost only 50 cents a stick. This satay stall I will definitely ordered when I am in this Haig Road Hawker Center.
