It is a cold and rainy morning. I decide to have something hot for breakfast before going for lesson. The McDonald's is very crowded and noisy. Walking further into the building, I see a Starbucks which looks quite warm and cozy especially during such a weather. The outlet is quite empty, saves for 2 staffs and 1 lady customer. There is quite a number of different sitting in the dine in area, leather stools, high stools and the usual chairs, with paintings decorating the walls.I order a Turkey H
It is a cold and rainy morning. I decide to have something hot for breakfast before going for lesson. The McDonald's is very crowded and noisy. Walking further into the building, I see a Starbucks which looks quite warm and cozy especially during such a weather.
The outlet is quite empty, saves for 2 staffs and 1 lady customer. There is quite a number of different sitting in the dine in area, leather stools, high stools and the usual chairs, with paintings decorating the walls.
I order a Turkey Ham, Egg White & Cheddar Sandwich from the Breakfast Menu. It costs $6.90 and comes with a choice of coffee or tea. The sandwich is served hot and toasty. It looks ugly but tastes not bad.
I have Chamomile Blend Tea to go with the sandwich.This comforting blend of chamomile, rose petals and other soothing herbs has a lovely floral bouquet with an apple-like flavour and distinct toasty notes. The staff also kindly asks me which size do I prefer for my drink. When I could not finish my drink, the staff also kindly replaces the drink in a paper cup for me to takeaway. Good service.Overall it is quite a relaxing place here with light music in the background. Best of all it is not crowded, unlike the other outlet (Rochester Park) which is just across the street.
