When i want simple comfort food and yet have no idea what i want to eat, i will go straight for hong kong cafe for my nissin noodles.Classic choice will be with luncheon meat and egg which will never go wrong! The one at Streats Hong Kong Cafe is pretty decent, it be better if it's more hot but overall taste is good. Soup base is quite nice too and the serving of vegetables is ok too. Environment is actually not bad but there don't seems to have a lot of service staff around. The crowd was stil

Classic choice will be with luncheon meat and egg which will never go wrong! The one at Streats Hong Kong Cafe is pretty decent, it be better if it's more hot but overall taste is good. Soup base is quite nice too and the serving of vegetables is ok too.

Environment is actually not bad but there don't seems to have a lot of service staff around. The crowd was still ok when i was there so no complaints. But during peak hour, i hope they have more staff around to help =)

Review on Streats Hong Kong Café @ City Square Mall

Was pleased to know that this hong kong cafe is halal. Went out with my mother and had a fruitful time with her.
The seating area is colourful & comfy. And you can see the exterior of the mall through the full windows.

Service
This is a wait and you will be served kind of restaurant. Most of the waitresses are non-local.
However, you will be given a notepad and a pencil to place your order. So no mis-communication there.
The order came in a reasonable time.

Suggested days
It's usually not packed so I guess anytime of the day. Besides, there are a lot of seating area.

Prices $$
Its price is slightly pricey but since it's a restaurant, I guess it's okay. The siew mai and wanton are pretty good. The pows I had was normal.

Rating
I would give this 3/5.
I won't go here often - probably for a special occasion.
