This is probably one of the biggest Swensen's I've been to, they even have a section of the restaurant that overlooks the front of the Plaza Singapura.At 1130am on a sunday, there weren't many customers and we quickly got a table. The portion here is really pretty big and fills up your stomach! I have ordered the crispy cereal chicken which is one of the new dishes they have here. It tasted good with the coleslaw beside so you won't get sick of the taste easily. They fried it pretty well and the chicken was really crispy. Fries were fried well too. My friend ordered the burger instead and the meat is succulent!

After our lunch at Concetto by Saveur. We had dessert at Swansons. Ice cream $12.80 for 2. Fried scallop and fries $6.80The food is very cheap bug the service is lacking. The waiter did not check with us if we want the ice cream after the snack. Hence we ended up eating melted ice cream.

I had a Christmas Party and the host ordered Swensen Ice Cream chocolate log cake. It was about a 1.5 kg cake. When the cake was served, it was still hard and had not melted. Once it was cut, the chocolate had made it easy to eat. The ice cream was not too cold to cause sensitive toothache. It cake was not dry but it was perfect as ice cream. In fact, I did not see that I was eating cake. I was more of eating ice cream. It was a wonderful ice cream log cake.

sourdough 49ers sandwich with chips and coleslawi love this! the saltiness of the bacon added flavour to the sandwich and it was really delicious. the bacons were not the fatty kind too so girls will love it. the fries and coleslaw tasted average though. the chicken breast was also tender, though lacking of flavour.grilled barramundi with lemon butter saucethe vegetables were rather bland and had no flavour. the grilled barramundi was not very tender but still acceptable. sauce was kinda weird.

Smoked Salmon Salad in Mango Sauce: I've always loved smoked salmon, so I ordered this salad. The mango sauce seemed special and mixed well with the salad. The tangy fruity sauce with some sourness and the saltiness of smoked salmon is very matching and complements well.Salmon Baked Rice: The baked rice at Swensen's is my all-time favourite. The gravy is very flavourful, together with the smoked salmon in it and the fragrant butter rice, the whole dish is just sinful yet delicious.Banana Crumble

The place is empty when we entered so we did not have to wait for a table. We ordered the Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream & apple. It is so sweet and suits people with sweet tooth. The service is slow that some of our ice cream melted already. The brownie is served in a sizzling plate with 1 scoop of vanilla melted ice cream.

After having dinner, my cousins and I had cravings for ice-cream, so we decided to have some at Swensen's. Swensen's have a wide range of ice cream flavours, so naturally we thought of having ice cream there. We ordered their 'Giant Earthquake', which consisted of 8 scoops of different types of ice cream, topped with cherries and whipped cream. i feel Swensens serves one of the nicest and crispiest chicken and i especially love this chicken fingers that is seen over here. This crispy dish is really finger licking good and the chicken is still not too bad even if it is kept for a few hours and being made hot. The fries that accompany the chicken is also really good and this dish is really addictive and yummy.

I had the beef stroganoff baked rice when I visit Swensen’s one day cos I was craving for some baked rice. Ditch my usual curry chicken baked rice and chose this instead, and I was disappointed. The baked rice is cooked perfectly, the rice is just nice, the cheese melts evenly and the beef… it was so tender and juicy! I would consider having this again if I wanted some baked rice in future. Service was good as the waiter is prompt in our ice water refills.

Topped with crispy breaded chicken cutlet and accompanied by fresh lettuce, tomatoes and olives, this salad is really a good way towards cultivating healthy eating. Non-vegtable lovers would love the crispy and hot chicken cutlet and the chicken goes really well with the vegetable leaves and salad dressing. A great way to incorporate healthy eating into one's meal.

Swensens used to be popular for their wide variety of sundaes, until many ice cream joints started sprouting all over the place. It has your usual flavours, and combination of chocolate/caramel sauces tastes conventional. Nevertheless, presentation of the sundae is commendable. However, it may be overly sweet for some, and it should be shared with another person, as it will get "jelat" after a few mouthfuls.

When in doubt, choose Swensens. Also ordered the Swensens Fish & Chips ($16.80) which was the usual favourite and indeed it does not disappoint! The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside as usual, and Swensens fries had maintained its standard all these years since my childhood days.With a main course, you can add-on $4 for a soup and a drink! I dined in Swensen's before but this is my first time getting an ice cream cake here.The FoodAs a mango lover, I knew I have to get this flavor.
