After a gym session with my beloved cousins,we felt so drained and famished. All of us were thinking of having something healthy,especially since we gymmed but....errr....let's just say food is irresistable and I was the only one who ended up sticking to the plan.We went to swensens at Jurong point and after LOTSSSSSS of thinking,i decided to get the Grilled Chicken Salad. i had a fried fish with Apricot mayo at swensen's in Jurong Point. This is the first time i'm trying this dish at swensens (mostly i stick to the baked rice). The fried fish was a little over fried making it quite hard rather than crispy. And i felt that adding extra mayo on top was unnecessary seeing as theres already a side container with apricot mayo in it. I taste a bit of the apricot mayo and promptly stayed off it. I went to swensen’s for dinner the other day. There is always a crowd outside swensens. When my girlfriend and I finally got seated, we immediately ordered our meals so that we need not wait so long. And surprisingly, the food arrived quite quickly. I ordered the fish and chip with apricot mayo sauce. the sauce was kind of sweet, luckily it was only drizzled on top of the fish. As a whole, the dish was quite delicious! I guess that’s why everyone is willing to queue.

I was so shocked to see that swensen has tie in with Citibank to have a promotion where you spend $35 and get a $5 return voucher. Well apparently my voucher was eaten up by the Jurong Point branch. I feel so cheated… my bill came up to $42.25, so upsetting. However their fish and chips was fabulous. I guess this fish and chips can be eaten at any branch, I will never eat at this branch EVER AGAIN!

We had Swensen's for lunch! There were student deals that were really chap! Just $9.80 for a meal at Swensens! The menu showed us all sorts of mouth watering and delicious dishes. There was pasta (crayfish pasta!), burgers, sandwiches and ecetera. Being in the mood for something adventurous, I decided to try their mega burger! Dining at the basement floor of jurong point was never one of my favorite. The restaurants there have this open dining concept. It is still air-conditioned, but not enclosed and there will be fly here and there sometimes. Quite irritating. And the queue is long. I had the Chicken mushroom mayo pizza this time. Was sourcing for a quick bite at Jurong Point and decided to have a go with Swensen...Placed an order for a pasta and a promotional wagyu beef burger done in medium style. No complains on the pasta which was acceptable however the wagyu beef burger was diappointing! The burger came in totally overcooked which is dry as a whole and the outer layer slightly burnt with a concealment of melted chesse on top. One of the worst experience on a pricey wagyu beef and perhaps never again to order this at
