This stall is famous for their ginger tea which tastes really exceptional! Initially, I ordered the ginger tea ($1.20) without knowing that it is famous for it, until I saw that it was stated on their signboard that they are the teh haliah specialist. They certainly live up to their name! It was one of the best (if not the best) ginger tea Ive ever tasted. The ginger taste was very strong and the tea was served real hot too. It is definitely worth the price and try! Ditch your teh tarik and be a

Taj Mahal Drinks StallStall 24, Adam Road Food Centre2 Adam Road, S289876Bukit Timah, Singapore19 August 2012To complement the oiliness of the carrot cake, Merlion Wayfarer ordered teh tarik. It was a good combination. Taj Mahal’s tea was sweet, yet not excessively so, and not too thick. It was also one of the few stalls that were open during the Hari Raya weekend. Good that it was open for all of us thirsty diners! The full blog is available at:http://merlionwayfarer.blogspot.sg/2012/08/teh-ta

I actually thought of having a cup of chinese coffee but were tempted by a cup of teh halia instead. This tea was pretty spiced with ginger and the first sip left a slight burning on my tongue. It was lovely to see the tea that foamy. I was perspiring half way when drinking the tea. It cost $1 for this cup of teh halia.
