The braised duck meat here is really juicy and not too tough, which unlike most of the braised duck stalls which they have quite tough meat. The meat is not too oily and really goes well with the dark soya sauce yam rice. The rice is quite fragrant and the grains are separated nicely. Like their dry sambal chilli sauce which is quite spicy and also very tasty too. The price is quite reasonable and usually you will expect to see quite long queues during lunch hours. Beside the duck rice, the kway chap here is also quite nice and fragrant too. 繼續閱讀

My girlfriend ordered the kway chap from this stall for us to share. The kway chap was really tasty, one bowl was not really enough for me but luckily we had ordered other food so it was just ok. The soup of the kway chap was very tasty and very well seasoned. The kway was very smooth though a little oily. we had large and small intestines, tau pok, tau gua and egg for our ingredients. They cleaned the intestine really well, there was no bad small unlike other stall’s pig intestine. The tau pok and tau gua were cooked long enough till it had fully absorb the tasty gravy. as a whole it was very satisfying. 繼續閱讀

I had kway chap here with my friend last week after we did our dried goods shopping at level 3. Since both of us wanted to eat kway chap, we decided to order a larger portion for us to share. The pig organs (intestines) are all quite fresh, without any stench and are very well flavoured. The pork belly is also quite lean which is to my liking since I can devour the whole thing without feeling like it is too greasy. The chilli is slightly sourish which complements the kway chap. I will definitely revisit this stall again if I come here next time. 繼續閱讀

In Kwaychap style, the uncle gave a meal for a portion which I scarfed it down within an instant for $5, including a bowl of rice and a mix of platter delicacies.Rice was not as succulent and plump, it was more of those long grain thai rice that just easily slings down the throa and i finished the rice in no time! The soup broth was deliciously good, as a standout point boiled in with those chinese herbs to make your throat clear..As for the platter, the sauce complemented with the boiled peanuts well, and the meat was out cold, but soft and delicate once I bite in. This is the result of the slow boiling process, and the sweetness was naturally soaked into the meat, but I added soy sauce because I liked it salty. I was so hungry at this point of time, the portion wasn't enough and big as so I remember~! 繼續閱讀

Having tried the kway chap at the other side of the hawker centre (#01-96) the other time, I decided to try this stall's kway chap. I did not manage to get a picture of the kway chap ingredients as the shot was too blurry and I did not realise it until I have finished my meal. The kway is quite nice, the accompanying stock was not too salty and it is a delight slurping the kway together with the stock. I love the intestines best - it is quite fresh in my opinion. I think I prefer this stall's kway chup due to its better service and better ingredients! 繼續閱讀
