salmon + soba = ultimate bliss

Headed to the marmalade pantry with the girls for a girl’s night out. I ordered their salmon soba as I totally adore salmon and soba. When you put them both together, it is my paradise. So glad that they served this food here. I love their salmon, so fresh and grilled perfectly. Very juicy as well.

a great ambience to chill out in the hot afternoon

i went to marmalade pantry with my girlfriend to hang out for some drinks after shopping around for quite some time. We love this restaurant as the ambience is very good and relaxing. The layout of the restaurant is very classy as well, making their customers feel very important. The service is very good, did not wait long to be seated and served. The drinks are really good, not too sweet. ideal for a hot afternoon!

red velvet cupcake.

I was really craving for a red velvet cake, when a friend told me that I could find it at Marmalade Pantry though she already tried it personally and said it was barely average, well I went for it anyway.The red velvet cupcakes at Marmalade Pantry are different from the typical ones. Theirs have coconut shavings on top. I was excited upon being served with my cupcake, I was looking forward to one all day long, I took my quick bite into it and true enough, I wasn't too pleased.The cupcake was moi

The red velvet cupcakes at Marmalade Pantry are different from the typical ones. Theirs have coconut shavings on top. I was excited upon being served with my cupcake, I was looking forward to one all day long, I took my quick bite into it and true enough, I wasn't too pleased.

The cupcake was moist and fresh, but there was just something missing, like a lack of flavor. The cupcake tasted like plain ordinary vanilla cupcake except being red in color visually. The cream cheese frosting was more like vanilla frosting and the layer of frosting was really thin. I'd simply say the coconut shavings wouldn't be an ideal new creation to add on.

Maybe. You might want to try their other cupcakes instead, like the Nutella one.

Nice Place to have High Tea~

We arranged to meet at The Marmalade Pantry for the first time. Heard they were famous for their cupcakes and so I ordered one to try. Their strawberries & cream cupcake tasted as sweet as it looked. Cool lifestyle concept and we totally loved the setting. Its very expensive though, $4.20 for a cupcake. Service is good.

I was hoping to try Marmalade Pantry's Banana pancakes with blueberries & crème fraiche, but learnt that they had been replaced by Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes ($16++) with honeycomb butter. Citrus fans will take to the mildly zesty pancakes, which were teamed up with stewed apricot and peach chunks, a sprinkling of icing sugar and a generous drizzle of delicious maple syrup to counter the tartness of the lemon. While their citrusy flavor profile pleased, I can't say so for the texture of the hotcakes

While their citrusy flavor profile pleased, I can't say so for the texture of the hotcakes. Ricotta is a well-liked addition to pancake batter for the light and fluffy result it achieves, but these hotcakes stopped short of my expectations. Though they were tender and well-risen, my pancakes were a tad heavy and made for a rather filling lunch, despite them being rather small in size.
