I was near Clarke Quay for lunch and decided to introduce my friend to this chicken rice stall, which has cheap food compared to Central and Riverside. It was rather crowded during lunch hours, but we got a table within 10 minutes. I had the pork chop set A for $3.80, but didn't want curry sauce over it this time, and I found it better than with curry sauce. As usual, pork chop was lean and fried till crispy. As this is near the place where I had to attend seminars, I went to eat again during lunch, as it is cheap and affordable, and I liked their fried pork chop. This time, I ordered the chicken rice, and added an additional $2 for pork chop, and it costs $5.50 in total. I would recommend this combination as you get to try both their chicken and pork chop. The chicken was tender, and the rice fragrant, although a little overcooked.

The rice is plain rice, not fragrant chicken rice, unless you order chicken. Pork chop was fried till crispy and flavourful, but was a little too oily; nevertheless, it's quite unique and unlike your typical pork chop, very tender. Barley was not sweet but good for me.

This is not my first time patronising this stall with my then colleagues when I was working at Raffles Place.
