One of my friends recommended trying this traditional dessert called Ice Ball, which is also known as 'Ais Bor' by the older generation. We ordered one each and initially thought we could savour it the ol' way of eating it by the hand but the ball turned out to be so big! It is actually like Ice Kachang with syrup and condensed milk being poured all over the ice just that this is in a ball shape. Upon poking the ice, it was a pleasant surprise to find all these ingredients as I really didn't expected anything inside! There were atap seed, colourful jellies, red bean, chendol etc! I still think it is pricey though at $2.50 each but it is worth trying for the experience of an old dessert well loved by our parents!

The stall not only sells cold & hot drinks. It also sells a tradition dessert call the ice ball. I ended the food trail with a dessert from the memory lane, the 1960's ice ball. Shaved ice was shaped into a ball with cooked read beans and atap seeds stuffed inside. Finally coloured syrup and evaporated milk are poured over the ice ball to give it the sweetness taste.

Mrupupup is a great fan of food courts/ hawkers. Well, there is a foodcourt dining concept at the Singapore Food Trail @ Singapore Flyer. First thing to accompany the oily food was to have a cup of bird's nest drink. The drink was not cheap and costs $2.50. The metal cup was very pretty. You can take a look for I took a picture. Bird's nest drink very cooling and refreshing.
