Having seen the advertisements in Orchid for Wild Honey I just had to try it out. So I ask a friend for brunch to the branch in Scott’s Square. Looking at the varied menu I choose the Grilled Ruben. When it arrives the my mouth starts to water and it doesn’t disappoint. The pastrami, cheese, sauerkraut, dressing and crispy rye is very good. The chips could be better but that won’t stop me ordering this tasty sandwich again. 繼續閱讀

Interior Food menu Dessert and drinks menu Mellow Melon - $9(Honey dew melon, Granny Smith Apple and Citrus Juice)Other than the fact that it was waaaaaaaay overpriced, I felt that it was a great thirst-quencher! Vegetapple - $9(Beetroot, Carrot and Granny Smith apple)This tasted exactly like the ABC juice you can purchase from fruit juice stalls. The Norwegian - $26(Avocardo, grilled asparagus spears, two perfectly poached eggs wrapped with Norwegian smoked salmon, homemade Hollandaise sauce and salmon pearls on wholewheat brioche)Well, my expectations for the breakfast at Wild Honey were sky-high because one simply does not pay $26 for a plate of eggs benedict. Even the fact that there were Ikura in the dish did not justify for the hefty amount we had to pay. So yeap, when I saw the words "perfectly poached eggs" on the menu, I expected my egg yolk to drizzle over the perfectly toasted brioche with I sliced into it but yet, I was disappointed. My eggs were slightly overcooked, and the rest of the dish was just ordinary. English - $25(The foil works, scrambled eggs, canadian back bacon, cuberlad pork sausages, sauteed mushrooms, Dad's baked beans, breakfast potatoes, grilled cine ripened tomato and signature brioche)The dish took a turn and in a good way. The scrambled eggs were smooth and creamy. The back bacon was tender and the pork sausage was seasoned well. The brioche was probably one of the best I've had, and even the baked beans were superb. Thumbs up to the breakfast potatoes too! Loved how crispy it was! European - $20(Wild honey's version of eggs benedict with two perfectly poached eggs, sauteed mushroom, imported Italian prosciutto, homemade hollandaise sauce on the signature brioche)The eggs were poached perfectly in this one and the prosciutto added a good balance to the entire dish. But $20 for this? Nope. Caribbean - $20(Coconut waffles bound with fresh passion fruit cream, fresh baby bananas and slices of mangoes, toasted coconut flakes and passion fruit syrup)The waffles were fluffy and moist. This was actually my favorite dish out of the lot, other than the big breakfast! I could taste coconut in the waffle batter, and the passion fruit syrup complemented the waffles and the fresh fruits perfectly.Atmosphere:The interior was cool and very cosy. Sofa seats were available and there was even a semi-outdoor seating which overlooked a great view. This place is perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon or an avenue to unwind with a group of friends.Service:I wasn't exactly impressed with the manager's attitude (So rude omg). Other than that, food was served promptly and the service staff was rather approachable.Atmosphere: 8/10Price: 5/10Food: 7/10Service: 6/10 繼續閱讀

A group of friends and I made our way to Wild Honey recently to celebrate one of our beloved friend's birthday. Although i made a reservation, due to a blunder on my part, it became invalid, it being the day before instead of the day of the supposed reservation but lucky for us the restaurant was relatively empty (and remained so for the rest of the evening) so we got our seats immediately. Before i start on the food, i had to comment on the ambience and environment surrounding the WH outlet at Scotts Square. It is quite classy, with comfy cushion chairs and a waitering service instead of ordering over a counter service. But we were a little put off that they didn't allow us to serve the birthday cake at their restaurant and so we had to do it somewhere else.Okay, now the good stuff. The food.  They serve all-day breakfast items so we had the luxury of enjoying bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, baked beans with potateoes and brioche. And my gosh, i am normally not a big fan of potatoes, but it tastessssss damn good. Their brioche is quite a thick slice so it was a very filling meal. My friends ordered some of their other items on the menuverall i had say the ambience was pretty good, just the service could be better. It was relatively quiet on a tuesday evening so we got to stay more than the stipulated 1 hour. 繼續閱讀

Wild Honey has always been my favorite spot to enjoy quality all-day breakfast / brunch, in cosy poshy settings. Hence, for tonight's Christmas get-together dinner with the dear *J and *L, we selected this place as The VenueThe outlet at Scotts Square is newer, set in dim, intimate lightings with a blend of vintage-modernistic furnishings to give it a plush but homely feel. The balcony alfreco dining area looked inviting as well, but that evening's searing weather gave us pause to venture. We stayed indoors in the cool comfort of couches, electrical lights made to resemble candlelights and soft music in the background - the perfect catching-up place as well.*L had the Spanish Hash Breakfast (SGD$24.00) with diced chorizo, corned beef, potato cubes, grilled ciabatta, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. The house corned beef was succulent and flavorful, and the complement by potato dices made the dish immediately wholesome in a homecooked manner. Paired with the crispy ciabatta, this was another great choice. As for me, I had the Scandinavian breakfast again (SGD$28.00), consisting of asparagus, crispy potato rosti, grilled salmon and homemade Hollandaise sauce, with the sweetest cherry tomatoes. This is almost my signature dish everytime I eat at Wild Honey - the tender salmon paired with appetite whetting crispy potato and asparagus are all my favorite things. For full review and more photographs, please feel free to visit:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2014/12/dinner-at-wild-honey-scotts-square.html 繼續閱讀

This restaurant has my favourite all day available Egg Benedict that I can always have it during any time of the day here as long when I'm craving for it. With very fresh sautéed mushrooms, Hollandaise, and special prosciutto cooked in this dish, is really flavourful and the portion is very generous as well. The salmon is also very fresh and chewy, and the bread toast is soft and fresh. For $30 per person to dine in here, is quite expensive but for its quality, is still worth the price. Moreover, restaurant is spacious and cooling, service is friendly too. 繼續閱讀
