I visited Zero Zero some time back for their $88++ 6 course dinner. Ambience was perfect as the place was huge without many people (which explains why it is now Tao's zero zero and the menu is more affordable), and decor was also great. The first course was alright, scallop topped with caviar and placed on a piece of watermelon, which was quite unique. Next came the duck meat with apple slices in between (they seem to like pairing fruits with their food), which was surprisingly good. The escargots next were baked with cheese - common but hard to go wrong. Cream of mushroom soup average. I ordered duck confit for my main course - duck meat was tender, but skin wasn't that crispy and flavourful; saveur's is comparable or even better. Lastly I had the vanilla beans dessert, which was a good end to the meal.
