Chanced upon this new restaurant while I was in Bedok to meet up a friend for lunch. Seeing how packed it was during at that time, I thought that the food here must be really special.So, my friend and I decided to have our lunch there. I ordered the Flying Kung Fu wings ($5.80 for 3 chicken wings) as appetizer. The waiter said that it was marinated with their "special sauce" But when I tasted it, it was really nothing special. The waiter said that it was marinated with their "special sauce" But when I tasted it, it was really nothing special. YEs, the skin was crispy just the way I wanted it, but the meat was bland!
As for our mains, I had the Flaming Crab Pasta ($10.80) because I love spicy foods! But for this dish, it was too spicy that it overpowered the whole dish. It also had this slight fishy taste that lingers in your mouth after eating.
The best part of the whole meal was the dessert. Their Chocolate Lava Cake was just to die for! It was very rich and the
chocolate just oozes out of the cake once you slice it. Yummy!
