Met up with my tuition teacher and we decided to have lunch together. She dun usually take vegetarian food like I do, so I decided to introduce her to Whole Earth, a place where Thai Vegetarian food is served.When we got there, the place was quite packed. We didnt reserve a place and so we got a table just right in front of the entrance. We ordered a vegetable dish and a sweet and sour pork, which is made from mock meat. Service was fast, and the dishes arrived at our table shortly. Ordered 2 bo
When we got there, the place was quite packed. We didnt reserve a place and so we got a table just right in front of the entrance. We ordered a vegetable dish and a sweet and sour pork, which is made from mock meat. Service was fast, and the dishes arrived at our table shortly. Ordered 2 bowls of plain rice for us to go with it.
Presentation of both dishes were nice, and made the dishes really appetizing. The sweet and sour pork was really good, it tasted like real meat. There was also some raw veggies on top, and some cucumbers and pineapples, like rojak. The veggies with mushrooms dish I didnt like it as much as the stalks of the veggies were so hard. My tuition teacher ate all of it as I didnt touch the stalks. Ate the leaves only, and also the mushrooms. There were boxton seeds scattered on the dish too, and the sauce tasted nice. Serving for the meat is smaller, while there were more veggies with mushrooms.
After eating, my tuition teacher changed her conception of vegetarian food. She thought that vegetarian food only consisted of vegetables and nothing else. Now, she plans to go back to eat nxt time again.
