If you want a good afternoon tea in the Orchard district, do try out the afternoon tea at Lawry's the Prime Ribs from 2.30 to 5 pm daily.For $15++, you can choose 1 dish from the "Savories" list & 1 dish from the "Sweets" list in the menu. I tried the Bruschetta topped with roasted chicken with tomato salsa sauce ("Savories" list). It comes in 4 pieces. With the tomato salsa sauce, which is like those used for pastas, the bruschetta tastes yummy!
I also tried the English Trifle ("Sweets" list), which is a custard cake with strawberries & whipped cream. I like the fact that the cake is not too sweet.
The atmosphere is cosy. The price of $15++ is somewhat value for money.
