Given the convenience to grab a packet of ah ballings from the supermarket, I seldom buy them from such stall but it just happened that this stall has its history spoken since 1947 and was one of my childhood spot. Besides that, I can never boiled such grade of peanut soup at home using the preserved canned peanuts. Higher grades of peanuts were used in the soup and were larger in terms of their size with hints of pandan fragrance. Every balls were hand made where the rice balls skin is smooth and chewy. Sweet tasting roasted peanut filling encased in the glutinous rice balls. Semi sweet with fragrant from the sesame seeds used, it was comparatively good! In fact, given a preference, I would like this to the black sesame filling. Do make sure you leave some stomach room after your meal in Golden Mile Food Centre.
