Usually I'll visit Swensen's when I happen to crave for some decent good american burger. So after work one day we decided to visit the branch at ION to satisfy my craving. While waiting to get seated, we are quite piss with the servers who pretend they never see us standing at the line (there's only us waiting anyway) to be served and brought to our seat. waited for like 5 minutes before the restaurant manager came over to serve us.I ordered the swensen's burger and specially requested for the
I ordered the swensen's burger and specially requested for the beef patty to be done in medium (dislike the chewiness of the meat when it's well done) and it came perfectly nice and cook well in my preference! I love the burger as the portion is big, serve with bacon, sunny side up, usual vegs and fries. never fail to walk out of the shop feeling extremely happy and full.
Partner ordered curry chicken baked rice and i must say she made a good choice. the curry is so flavorful that i cant help to take many bites from her bowl. haha! I like the chicken too, very tender and juicy with nice curry flavor.
i was feeling a lil' desserty that day so we ordered apple crumble to share after our meal. regretted spending that money because - 1) we were too full to finish the whole dessert 2) when the manager pour the sweet syrup into the hot plate, the liquid starts to splash everywhere (guess the hot plate was wayyyyy too hot) and make a mess all over our table and my hand (and a few drops on my shirt) I remember the standard of the apple crumble used to be awesome, but now i think the standard dropped not sure if i will be ordering that any sooner.
