As I was searching up for new cafes in Singapore that serves pancakes, I found Paddington House of Pancakes. Like any other pancake cafes, it has both the sweet and the savoury (much more of these tho) pancakes…but with many many other delightful varieties and options It is located at City Square Mall (Farrer Park mrt) and has only 1 outlet, yes I know that’s sad, in Singapore. Cheesy fries & wedges with bacon bits (it was too yummy I’d forgotten the price) for appetizer; spicy potatoes pancake with an extremely pan-fried dory & fries served with mushroom sauce ($15) and spicy potatoes pancake with smoked salmon & cheesy scrambled eggs ($19) for our mains. I love the fish – both of them, and the lovely scrambled eggs.. However the mushroom sauce wasn’t really to my liking. For those of you who can’t take spicy, don’t attempt to try the pancakes. They.Are.Spicy.
Way too filling and in the end I couldn’t really finish my dish. But there’s always room for dessert aren’t there? So we each orrdered a different flavour of Pancakes Sundae ($8) – Strawberry NewYork Cheesecake for myself and Orange marmalade swirl with lychee & peach for dear. Really loved the desserts and would definitely go back there for somemore!!
