Qiu lian ban mian used to sell really awesome handmade noodles. I feel that the standard has dropped a little but it is still pretty good. The ban mian is chewy in texture and not overcooked until it is too soft. I think that is the best part - the just nicely cooked noodles. The soup is tasty as well with a generous serving of anchovies and fried onions. A great dish on a cold day as the ban mian provides a lot of warmth.
