Having heard of Covelli Italian Bistro & Wine Bar from my colleagues, I decided to host my boyfriend's birthday celebration over at Covelli. We ordered chicken bread stuffing as our appetizer, which was quite good (I liked the sauce).
Our mains - Wild Mushroom Ravioli and Pasta Al Pesto Gamberi were absolutely delicious and to our liking! The richness of the ravioli cream sauce and strong flavours from the pesto gamberi was unbelievable. Thumbs up!!
And my favourite dish of all was the dessert - Profiterole!!! It was so good, I almost wanted to go for a second round
Intending to spring a surprise for my boyfriend, I had initially asked the staff to help me bring over a mini birthday cake that I had bought from Rive Gauche. To my amazement, and great compliments to the service from Covelli, their staff spend the extra effort to decorate the plated cake into one that is so beautiful! And their staff were all very friendly and quick to respond to any of our needs. Thumbs up on their service!!On the whole, excellent food and service at this particular restaurant! Absolutely love the place - its ambience, food, staff and will definitely return there as one of their regular customers.
