After having steamboat down the road, of course we had to stop by Ah Chew Desserts - the famous dessert place since we were nearby.At Ah Chew Desserts there are so many desserts to choose from! And it took me quite awhile to decide what I would take away for my family. The menu was so comprehensive that I wanted to take away double share for each of us so we could try out the various desserts they serve. But I was very in control and ordered the Black Glutinous Rice with Vanilla Ice Cream ($3.50

But I was very in control and ordered the Black Glutinous Rice with Vanilla Ice Cream ($3.50), Honeydew Sago ($3.20), Mango Sago ($3.70) and Yam with Sago ($3.20).
I am a fan of Black Glutinous Rice and I like it with coconut. But this one at Ah Chew Desserts spice up the ordinary Black Glutinous Rice. Ice cream in Black Glutinous Rice? How will it taste like? It actually turned out to be a little surprise! It was that good that he was so willing to trade his Honeydew Sago with mine.
I found that the Sago they served these day wasn't that great now. If you are here, try their hot desserts which are quite awesome! 張貼
