I visited Ramen champion at iluma recently and i tried their black ramen as recommended by a friend. My conclusion: the black ramen is really overrated.. The noodles were a little too soggy and the black sauce wasn't as great as I expected. The restaurant was also rather empty which is a good thing because we did not have to que, and food was served rather quickly. Other than that, ramen champion is probably a 6/10 for taste but 7/10 for ambience and service. As for location wise, iluma's parking is generally quite easy though not very cheap. Iluma has a rather low aircon temperature so do bring along a jacket if you're not fond of the cold.
