Was in the mood to try a different version of chicken rice when I was in kovan food center. The normal hainanese chicken rice is always steamed white chicken or the roasted chicken. However, this particular stall offers braised chicken as well. Not many places sells braised chicken rice nowadays (other than the famous chicken rice shop in chinatown) Chicken skin: Chewy, Q, not very salty, light tone of dark soya sauce, not salty and has a mild herbal taste.Chicken meat: Tender, moist, perfectly

Very worth for a plate which cost only $3.00 where they separate the meat and rice for you.
