Its a Saturday night... after a day of cooking and baking you head out to ion to find a hearty meal and what you get somewhat disappoints you!My close friend and myself walked down to Ion Orchard to have a meal around 830pm and we werent sure of what we could consume... we took a walk down orchard road and no we didnt go to mcdonalds at centrepoint to have filet and share a cup of lemon lime but instead we had some burgers at charlie and co.Normally a very standard F&B rule is this... Normally a very standard F&B rule is this... Whenever there is a burger, there must be fries, wedges or any potato product accompanied by salad.
This wasnt the case. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger or something like that with non alcoholic beer... well there is non alcoholic beer... it is called ginger beer...
We paid around $43 for 2 burgers and 2 beverages... i mean seriously wth... $43 im ok with that knowing its ion and all but to my amazement.... it was just the burger without fries... without salad or anything of that sort.
No wonder the staff asked me if i wanted some side orders i was like... err no this is good for now...
It is just a very standard f&b practice to have fries with burgers... if i would say chicken chop they wouldnt just give me the chicken chop but the fries as well.
I would have to say.... the burger was good... bacon fried with the meat patty... not too filling but just nice...
I went back to order the truffle fries so as to accompany my meal...
The staff were pretty friendly.. This guy has excellent customer service in a loud pleasant tone asking everyone how the food was. I am so proud to be doing f&b and even better where i came from before.
