It is always worth queuing for good food. The snaking queue at Xiu Ji is quite slow, but for the love of my favorite ikan bilis yong tau foo, Im more than willing to wait. Queued for an average of 30 mins which is still acceptable to me. I have always preferred the dry version of yong tau foo, so I chose the 7 pcs for $3 with bee hoon/noodles. Actually there is no sweet sauce or chili on the bee hoon like other dry yong tau foo noodles but surprisingly it was not bland, in fact it really tasted

I have always preferred the dry version of yong tau foo, so I chose the 7 pcs for $3 with bee hoon/noodles. Actually there is no sweet sauce or chili on the bee hoon like other dry yong tau foo noodles but surprisingly it was not bland, in fact it really tasted good with just the ikan bilis on it. Love the crunchy fragrant ikan bilis!!! I was eating there when they were frying the ikan bilis and was really tempted to scoot off with the wok of mouth-watering delish goodness!

The attitude wasnt very good especially that of one elderly auntie, she scolded and pushed my friend who was waiting for the food just coz she was in her way. I know I cant expect service from such a busy hawker stall, and she probably don't mean any harm but it sure doesn't feel good to be treated like this when we are buying food from them. Other than that, we still love the yong tau foo here! Cheap and good!
