I was at Yew Tee and decided to just have my lunch there instead of going back to Jurong Point. I ordered the lotus root soup with rice. The set costs me $4.50 if I remember correctly. The soup is very tasty though I guess it is due to use of salt instead of much of the taste being from the lotus root and pork ribs. The ingredients are quite little too, there is only around two pieces of pork ribs and the pork meat is a little tough to chew as well. The lotus root is quite alright in that it is

The ingredients are quite little too, there is only around two pieces of pork ribs and the pork meat is a little tough to chew as well. The lotus root is quite alright in that it is sliced quite nicely, not too thick or too thin. Overall, I would rate it is just average.
