For Din Tai Fung, it's no surprise that we have to queue for some time, being the reason that its popular among us, diners. I would say, that is definitely worth one's waiting time. At least for me, I'm rather amazed by how these staff handle customers! It's definitely very organized and speedy. We will first get a queue number from the counter, while waiting, we have to indicate our order on the slip of menu provided with the queue number. The turn over is very fast and workers are quick in getting tables ready for customer. Once we are seated, our food is served within 5 minutes. Noticed that they provide a carrier for you to place your bag, which is very good.
What I like about their XLB is that they "Xian Zhou Xian Mai" (meaning the prepared on the spot when ordered. The kitchen is transparent and everyone can see what the workers are preparing! Looks very skillful. Well-trained.
Always full house during dinner times. Open Air Dinning concept.

As the dinning concept is open air, its best no choose some where in the centre of the dinning area.
