I love dining at Halia, but the only problem was it was such an effort to visit their outlet in the Botanic Gardens. Thankfully, they opened a new restaurant last month at Raffles Hotel. As for the restaurant, Im quite surprised on how they brought the essence of their Botanic Gardens outlet in their new restaurant. You can see a tree in the middle, plus some vines on the wall. Real or not? I'm not sure. I didn't have time to check because the orders were served.
As for the dishes I ate, I had the:
1. Halia Chilli Crab
-This was my fave out of all the dishes that I had. It was spicy, which just blended well with the crab taste.
2. Sous Vide Baharat Chicken Leg
-Chicken was just so tender, I can eat this everyday!
3. Seafood in Saffron Orange Broth
- Interesting dish, which if I would recommend to those who want to try Halia for the first time.
4. Javanese Spiced Maori Lakes Rack of Lamb
-Lamb was good, too! I'm not a fan of lamb, but this one, I LIKKEEE! =D
