hai's serves an array of teppanyaki dishes with a staggering variety of permutations of chicken/fish, squid, curry etc. I opted for the Curry Chicken set at $5! Most of the sets here range from $5 and up, depending on the meat/seafood.
The sizzling hotplate of curry teppanyaki chicken was really scalding hot! The sticky japanese rice went beautifully with the golden, thick curry gravy. With an egg cracked on top, it was perfect! I found it slightly odd though, that the rice, egg and gravy were way hotter than the chicken itself.... Hmm.. Other that the oddness of this temperature disparity, the curry was pretty good. One thing to know though, it kind of coagulates (very slightly) when cold, so eat it up quickly! The soup had seaweed and egg in it -nothing much to rave about here.Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a curry fix -it's also an excellent hot meal for a cold day
