At the recommendation of a friend, we came here for brunch as a group of 4. We made the mistake of not making a reservation, and had to wait a good 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon for a table. Ended up seated indoors which was crowded and noisy, though I suppose cooler than the outdoor tables.Anyway, everyone ordered breakfast-y item - scrambled eggs, toast, coffee. Anyway, everyone ordered breakfast-y item - scrambled eggs, toast, coffee. I tried the option of chorizo sausage instead of bacon and it was quite dry. The toast was also too heavily buttered for my taste (you can see it in the pic). Other than that, breakfast was fine and I liked the coffee, but nothing was *wow* -- I can cook scrambled eggs just as good as these at home.
That said, the dinner menu (some items were written on a blackboard) looked more interesting and it probably wouldn't be so busy then! I'd give Epicurious another try.
