I personally dislike buffets so it was with much trepidation that I stepped into Penang Place. But honestly I was quite surprised at the decent quality of food and variety for the price ($26.90++). Only gripes I had were that the place was seriously packed (and noisy!) and some of the more popular dishes like the fried kway teow and satay weren't replenished fast enough. Overall a reasonable place to have local favourites if you are a big eater and crave for variety/aircon. Otherwise, just stick
