I heard about the popular Wanton Noodle in Alexandar Village Food Centre and decided to give it a try. Waited almost 20 minutes in the queue on a sunday afternoon just to grab them over lunch.

Ordered a version of dumplings noodles in chilli. Noodles that Kai Kee used was different from the usual ones we had for fishball noodles. They were springy and feels more "powdery". Portion of noodles given was generous for both plates. The lacking part I find about the plates was that it was very oily by the sides and make it difficult for us to hold them.

Dumplings was packed with chestnuts and minced meat, crunchy enough. However, i can still taste the flour of the wanton noodle which is not to my liking.
Cost: S$2.50

Opted for the non spicy verison of Wanton Noodle, the amount of dumplings given was quite alot, as well as the slices of char siew meat.
Cost: S$3.00

The soup that comes along with the dishes was too peppery for my liking. Overall, for the amount paid to its portion, it is definitely worth the money.
