I went to Ben and Jerry's to claim the free vouchers for two free scoops of Maple Syrup Ice-Cream. I've never tried this new flavour before and was quite interested to know how it tastes like. My first impression of this outlet was that the whole place was super empty. Other than my table, only a girl occupied another table and she didn't buy any ice-cream but stayed there to do homework. Maybe it's afternoon that's why there were no customers at all. After a while, there was a couple who came b
The staff were polite and pleasant, and asked if I wanted cups or cones. I requested for one cup and one cone. Although I was not buying anything, the staff did not try to pester me to buy the ice-cream.
The new flavour was too sweet, in my opinion. It tastes just like the Macdonald's maple syrup or you can imagine it like the taste of gula melaka. There were bits of brown sugar in it. It is quite refreshing to eat cos' I like to eat sweet stuff
I will only recommend this flavour to people who have a sugar tooth! This joint is also a good place for people who want to do their homework while eating ice-cream, or groups of friends who want to just hang out for the whole afternoon. P/S: It will be better if they provide water dispenser and tissue like Tom's Palette ^^
