I was having tea here with my sister and we ordered a Fish & Chips set ($14 for the Cod fish) to share. You just need to top up $2.90 to get a soda and a freshly baked cookie. We also ordered a Brownie to share. The fish was fried to a crisp but did not strike me as anything special - it wasn't beer battered, nor did they add any special seasoning to it. It was just simply plain ol' fish & chips. The fries were a bit thicker than those you get elsewhere which gives it a more homemade feel. Overa

Our $5.50 Brownie came with a cup of Coffee. The coffee was quite good but the brownie wasn't great - it tasted like one of those instant brownie mix you get from the supermarket. My sister preferred the Chocolate Cookie which was soft and chewy, filled with bits of chocolate chips and nuts with every bite.While the restaurant had a very "fisherman's fishmarket" kind of atmosphere - decorated with wooden boats, fishing nets and seafood props, the food was just pretty average. The manager who served us was also quite unresponsive and did not explain the set meal to us very clearly, resulting in us making a few trips to the drinks refrigerator to pick up another item. Good thing the restaurant was practically deserted on a Saturday afternoon so that I could have a nice quiet tea time with my sister.
