There was a slice of banana inside the cake too, which was an interesting addition. However the unanimous favourite was The Vert (the green in french, i think). Its a green tea sponge/mousse cake, and it was sooo good. The green tea is flavourful but not overpowering, and its neither too sweet nor bitter, given a really fragrant aftertaste. The combination of sponge and cream makes this an easy cake to eat. Really interesting and recommended! Will definitely be back to try their other cakes, especially the much raved about strawberry shortcake.
