After our dinner at Wendy's my dessert loving friend decided to drop by Gelatissimo at Shaw House Orchard Road for a cup of gelato!Gelato, unlike ice creams, has a lower butterfat content, which makes it a healthier dessert! The sugar content in gelato is balanced with the water and this acts as an anti-freeze to prevent the gelato from freezing solid, thus giving it is soft creamy consistency!After a loooong decision making time, we settled for a large cup of 2 flavours- creme caramel and hazel

Gelato, unlike ice creams, has a lower butterfat content, which makes it a healthier dessert! The sugar content in gelato is balanced with the water and this acts as an anti-freeze to prevent the gelato from freezing solid, thus giving it is soft creamy consistency!
After a loooong decision making time, we settled for a large cup of 2 flavours- creme caramel and hazelnut chocolate swirl!
I prefer the creme caramel course i have a naturally sweeter tooth. The hazelnut chocolate swirl was nice too, and it was fragrant although less sweeter. However, there was a strange aftertaste which i experienced after tasting the hazelnut chocolate.
The service staff was nice and polite though, very smiley!
