This is one of my favorite go-to places when the hunger pangs strike at odd hours of the day...Indeed, there are quite a number of things going for this joint - aside from the fact that it is open 24 hours a day...One of the main draws for me is that there is a nice variety of dim sum available. The menu is in Chinese so I often end up pointing randomly at the grainy pictures on the menu and hoping for the best. Fortunately, most of the items I have tried have turned out to be quite well-executed. Do not expect the refinement that you get at East Ocean or even Crystal Jade; however, the food here is served hot and fresh and for the price, it is hard to beat...

The porridge (in various versions such as century egg or scallop) is smooth, tasty and definitely worth a try...The crab vermicelli is also surprisingly good...You can taste the sweetness of the crab in the gravy that quickly gets soaked up by the vermicelli...

Another thing I like about this place is that it is in the middle (well, almost) of Singapore's red light district and is an interesting area to have a bit of a stroll through after all the food...
