I usually patronise the Cedele at Takashimaya but opted for a change and when to the one at Wheelock with my boyfriend. While the food was still as delicious, the service was absolutely ATROCIOUS. Firstly, the waiter forgot to bring our menus after seating us. When we finally got someone to serve us, the waiter forgot to bring our drinks and we had to remind him. Firstly, the waiter forgot to bring our menus after seating us. When we finally got someone to serve us, the waiter forgot to bring our drinks and we had to remind him. Unfortunately, even after being reminded he manage to deliver the drinks to the wrong table. He seem more interested in chatting with the cashier and other waiters. Thankfully the meal was pleasant. Also, did I mention they have all-day-breakfast which is something I love!
Sadly, the waiter took his own sweet time to get our bill and once again had to be reminded. I find it very tiresome when I’ve to remind waiters/waitresses for something. After all I’m paying service charge and I expect some sort of service at the very least. So I definitely will not be going to the Cedele@Wheelock again.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve never had this problem at Takashimaya’s Cedele. I guess different outlets have different training policies (?).
