I was quite happy to hear that Le Chasseur has moved to a location nearer to me. I brought hubby there for lunch one day, and we were quite happy with the food standard. And he is quite picky with claypot rice, so I guess the claypot rice there is really good.We ordered a small chicken claypot rice (enough for 2 pax) and tau suan to share. And he is quite picky with claypot rice, so I guess the claypot rice there is really good.We ordered a small chicken claypot rice (enough for 2 pax) and tau suan to share. I was more impressed with the tau suan with its caramel-sort-of taste, and the crispy you tiao.
However, when we returned for dinner on another weekend with our family, the service is really slow and bad. They forgot about 1 of our orders, and yet they can claim that they were cooking that pot of rice. We had to wait for like 20 mins, only to realise they forgot about our order.
Quite a disappointing experience, and we have not returned since.
